Land Rover Discovery Sport Overview
Land Rover Discovery Sport is the latest SUV product of the established British based automobile firm Range Rover. It is a great car to look forward to, for ardent luxury sport utility vehicle enthusiasts and the plus point with it is it is more reasonable than the regular LR4 Discovery car.
The design architecture of Land Rover Discovery Sport is inspired by Discovery Vision Concept. The model was showcased in grand style at New York; it is longer than Freelander by 80mm. The design attractiveness lies in the fact that it is boxier and upright and less compact. The head of the design department Gerry McGovern described the vehicle to be a forthcoming innovative product, inscribed on the arty clamshell type of bonnet, descending roofline and rising beltline.
Land Rover Discovery Sport is designed to attract the luxury car fanatic, it is a seven seat car, and it has a professionally designed instrument layout with two analogue dials and vibrant five inch infotainment screen. The quality of materials is first rate so is the refined leather upholstery, and the aftermath feel effect is nothing but luxurious.
Land Rover Discover Sport is fitted with a new chassis with new variable electric power steering system and improved disc brakes. It has autonomous emergency brake system and new exterior airbag that protect occupants from the harshest of harsh impacts.

Land Rover Discovery Sport Engine and Transmission
Land Rover Discovery Sport will be sold with diesel and petrol power trains, the company has not yet revealed deep details about the mechanical outcome of the diesel car. According to reports, it is expected to be a fierce 2.2 litre four cylinder engine that yields 180PS. The petrol model is likely to have a 2.0 litre turbocharged four cylinder engine that will pump out 250PS. The engines are coupled with nine speed gearbox and engineered with the advanced all wheel drive technology. Range Rover has designed the latest car with innovative engineering technologies, it is a lighter vehicle stuffed with potent aluminium material.
Land Rover Discovery Sport Expected mileage
The expected mileage range of the new Discover Sport is between 14 – 17 KMPL on the diesel and around 9 – 10 KMPL on the petrol variant.

The expected price range of Discovery Sport will be between Rs 45 and 50 lakhs.
