Refreshed to match the rest of the range this year, the 2014 Lexus CT 200h gets a new front styling with a new "spindle" shaped grille opening is rather simple to change from the previous model year. 

Most of the 2014 upgrade, in fact, has to do with design, both exterior and interior, plus new added features. In addition to grilles, both front and rear plastic bumper cover and fascias have been redesigned, and 17-inch alloy wheels get the new design as well. Trailing edge of the roof now sports "sharkfin" air radio, and the lights are now LED license (will anyone notice?). 

Updates have been applied to low, slab-sided hatchback similar to thick roof pillars that have been sold since the 2011 model year On the whole, the form of CT combines smoothly flowing curved lines-including the design language of L-finesse Lexus and gently curved back pillar-with mischievous, almost aggressive hatchback form. 

The rear window has the appearance of a regular cover, extending to the rear pillar, and extends the length of the roof spoiler above the tailgate short. The thin, tapered rear lights give the appearance of toned, and altogether, the shape has worn well - even if it does not appear as sporty today as when it was launched. 

Inside, a digital display on the dashboard screens have been updated, there is a new steering wheel, and some minor details have been changed. Two examples: scuff plate now metal, not plastic, along with some new color treatments for trim and upholstery. Two-tone interior trim combination bolder style than in some other Lexus models, set off with burl ash, bamboo, or wood trim black, or silver metal trim.
